So far this Summer has really tested the limitations of my body and mind. Three very rambunctious little girls home all day fighting, demanding attention, and wanting to play or go swimming has left me very tired. They wake me up bright and early every day wanting to do it all over again. It really makes me ache for back to school time. I’m only one woman, a mother, who has made a promise to try and make my girls’ summer break as fun as possible, but even I need a little help now and again.
RuckPack Combat Nutrition has been my lifebuoy this summer break. It’s a military service-member owned and operated brand that’s giving fellow servicemen, parents, hard workers, and athletes the energy, focus, and endurance to keep going. Basically, RuckPack produces a line of supplement products that use active ingredients to optimize human performance. They make it their mission to support each customer with the highest quality ingredients, that are made from the most advanced and safest ingredients at the most affordable prices.
RuckPack was founded by Marine Special Operations Forces on the battlefields of Afghanistan and they like to keep that frame of mind in everything that they do with their products. Which is why RuckPack is made in America and 10% of the profits go back to service related charities. It’s an honor to have been able to test out some of their amazing products. I’ve had the pleasure to test out their three Energizer Shots, their two SpeedBall drinks, and their ReFit Hydration Drink.
Of all the different types of products, the Energizer Shots were by far my favorite. RuckPack carries three different types of Energizer Shots: Raspberry Grenade Flavored Non-Caffeinated Shot, Citrus Ambush Double Strength Shot, and the Strawberry Assault Single Caffeinated Shot. The Single and the Double absolutely saved me this summer. It got me off my butt more times than I can count. I had to clean my entire house, backyard, and pool in preparation for a party and I got all done in half the time it normally takes me. Not to mention, the flavor is super easy to handle. RuckPack does mention that you can drink it as is, mix with water, or chill for better flavor. With the Strawberry Single Shot, I could drink it as is with no problem. The Citrus Double Strength does have more of a kick and is better chilled, but I could still drink is at room temperature. The Raspberry Flavored Non-Caffeinated Shot, I had to drink mixed with water. That one wasn’t my favorite in terms of flavor.

Even my husband was really digging the how much of a boost he got from the shots.
What makes RuckPack different from other energy shots I’ve had is how gentle the caffeine boost is. At no time was I sick or shaky, like I’ve gotten from other brands. I think it has a lot to do with the fact that RuckPack uses natural caffeine from green tea. They also boost their shots with ingredients that are brain enhancing. Those ingredients are high-quality nootropics such as AlphaSize® Alpha-GPC, the same choline that has been proven to give Alzheimer patients better cognitive functioning. And there’s absolutely no horrible crash when it wears off. I was able to get my boost, get what I needed to do done, and still sleep later that night. 5 Stars in my opinion!
RuckPack also offers three different types of drinks: Speedball Energy Drink in two flavors citrus and fruit punch, and Refit Hydration. The drinks I wasn’t too crazy about. Mostly because they were a bit too sweet for me. But if you are a person who can’t stand the taste of other energy drink brands because of how tart they are, then this may be the brand for you. Much like the energy shots, Speedball offers many of the same great ingredients such as Teacrine®, Alpha GPC, Tyrosine, Theanine, and Natural Caffeine. Which makes them more of an energized sports drink than an energy drink. The Refit Hydration isn’t like the Speedball drinks. It is a sports drink that you take after a hard workout. Refit Hydration helps to delay fatigue and boost the body’s ability to absorb electrolytes. I should note that Refit Hydration does not contain caffeine.
RuckPack also offers many other great products to help get your body in top shape. From Protein Powders, SuperGreens, Vitamins and even workout equipment, they offer a full line of amazing products that are made to help you focus and get work done. In fact, their products are so great that when featured in a 2012 episode of SharkTank, they were given deals from O’Leary and Herjavec. They’ve even managed to get a spot on Beyond the Tank.
RuckPack has been my savior more times than I can count this summer. It’s given me the energy to stay sane when it seems all my children have clearly lost their minds. It’s given me the energy to clean my entire house for the many guests we’ve had over. It’s helped me stay focused so I can accomplish more in a day than just cooking and picking everyone’s toys.
